Postby vwhoon » Wed Jun 13, 2012 10:10 pm

Hi Guys,

Who's responsibility is it to cover the differences in costs associated (for seating upgrade) when a disabled person cannot fit into standard economy seat. TAC, the airline, the disabled passenger ???

thanks

Whether it would be you or the airline, it might depend on the airline. I'd suggest contacting them prior to making any bookings to save yourself any unexpected expense.

So far I have only flown Qantas. Each time they have moved me to row 4, the one behind business class. This row has extra leg space but does not incur an upgrade cost. I need to be transferred using the airline aisle hoist ( eagle ) I am flying Jetstar next week ( only because Qantas does not fly direct from MEL to Darwin ) so will experience another airline!!!
