Here some interesting travel links that I've come across. I haven't tried any of these so I'm not saying if they're good or bad, that's up to you to decide. Happy travels :D

Apumayo Expeditions
This is a company based in Peru that has special tours to Machu Picchu and other Inca locations for disabled travellers.

Epic Enabled
This South African company runs accessible travel in South Africa, including the famous Kruger National Park, an exciting Private Game Reserve, the scenic Garden Route, Johannesburg, Cape Town & Durban in South Africa and can also offer tours to Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe/Zambia (Vic Falls) and the rest of Africa.

Hi Judy,
Thanks for all your ideas, and as you say it is very much up to the individual to decide whether they are good or bad! In the Transport & Travel section of SpinalHub there is an article with some tips for travelling and a checklist to help you find the right accommodation for your own needs.

Travability is a fully licensed Travel Agency located in Frankston specialising in travel for people with a disability. They are members of SATH (Society for Accessible Travel and Hospitality) and ENAT (European Network for Accessible Tourism)
