I have a powerchair and am living on what is a partial building site (yes, they're building houses lol) and also live in a town that seems to have an inordinate amount of smashed glass on footpaths/roads.

I've had more flat tyres than I care to think about and am thinking about changing over to flat free tyres. I'd been interested to hear from anyone who uses them to find out what the 'ride' is like and if there are any issues that I should be aware of.

Great question!

You can put puncture sealing fluid inside the tyres. This is commonly known as green slime. This wont fix up cuts in the tyres but will work as a puncture prevention. You can get solid tyres, however, they give a very hard ride. Give us a call at mobility plus on 13000 11000 and we can let you know how much the green slime is.
